I can't believe how great this ear cleaner works!! I squirt a small amount in my cats ear and then massaged her ear. I could hear the liquid squishing in there as I was massaging her ear. Then I took a piece of gauze to remove any debris and I was amazed at the chunks that came out!! I wiped it 3 times until the debris was less and less. I can't wait to do it again tomorrow. I'm so glad I bought Surosolve ear cleaner. It really works.
Our vet recommended this product for our Lab/Corso mix puppy. She suffers from chronic ear infections due to compacted ear wax and debris. We were using ear cleaning wipes and didn't realize that the wipes just push the wax and dirt further in causing more issues in the long run. I highly recommend this product as we have not had another incidence of an ear infection since using this ear cleaning solution. We love it and our pup loves it. My dog came home twice now from groomers with an ear infection. I used this cleaner everyday with wipes and voila it was cleared up within a week. I was in contact with a vet in case it didn't work and I would have taken her in. Switched groomers and no more issues. I keep this on hand just in case.
Our Lab constantly had some brown gunk in one of his ear. Vet made a test, defined the root cause was some bacteria and prescribed anti-bacterial Surolan drops (apparently the same manufacturer - Elanco) but after two weeks there was still a lot of gunk. We decided to try this cleaner and after two weeks the situation improved drastically. The prior treatment might have helped as well, but now his ear was much cleaner. We highly recommend the product. It smells good, on top. Always try to use a little bit on your dog first before starting full-scale cleaning. P.s. we used cotton discs as our preferred way of application
These ear drops are the best! My shih tzu would get yeast build up in his ears, causing him to get very itchy and smelly ears. Our veterinary prescribed these ear drops to use twice a week. Buying it on amazon was actually cheaper and also saved us the time and trouble of going into the veterinary office every month to buy a new bottle. We have been using this solution twice a week for almost a year and our dog's ears have been yeast free since. I don't mind the smell but if you are sensitive to odours, there is a herbal smell to the solution. It smells strong at first but the smell goes away after a few hours
